CRAIGLOCKHART creator Frank Hudec was born to a family of bookies in the New Orleans French Quarter. After film school, he produced the award-winning indie feature "Low"which ran in over two-dozen film festivals. Frank helped found and now sits on the Advisory Board of the Slamdance Film Festival. He wrote and directed the feature "Building Bombs" which Andreas Becker from Der Tagesspiegel called "a great, ironic indie... a message from better and happier times." While living in Berlin, he made the German and Russian language film "Der Tausch (The Exchange)". It debuted at the Clermont-Ferrand Film Festival. Frank cast, rehearsed and recorded his WW1-set audio drama "Craiglockhart" completely over the internet during the spring 2020 NYC Covid-19 quarantine. It was awarded both “Platinum” and top audience award at the 2021 HEAR Now Audio Fiction Festival. His next feature film "The Sleeping Shepherd” is inspired by the true story of Stéphane Breitwieser who stole two billion Euros in art only to have his co-dependent mother throw it all into a Rhine canal.
